I didn't mean to ignore you,

it's just that things got so hard,

I thought it would be better,

to hide you.



I always knew you were there,

remember the nights I pretended,

you were my teddy bear,

I protected you so well.



I'm so sorry that recently,

I have neglected you,

I even tried to hurt you.



I didn't mean to,

I just needed something to be in control of,

you are so innocent and vunerable,

the perfect prey.



I promise to try so much harder,

its hard, but you know that,

I wish I could see you more,

but not everyone can know you.



I have to be strong now,

I know you are there,

you are a big part of me,

someday maybe I will see you more.

I will still protect you,
