I knew the moment we started, what I was to you

I knew where it would lead, and that was no where

You had just broken up, with your love

and I was there waiting for a chance

I knew it wouldn't last, the moment you came to me

Don't feel bad for the way you treated me

It wasn't wrong, I accepted it

I knew what we were, and that was nothing

I feel pride in that I helped you

throught the rough time in your life

when your loved walked out on you

and I was stood there waiting

Dont' feel bad for what you did

I accepted what I was to you

My purpose was clear to all
