As you layed there in bed

I looked at you in awe

I saw you dreaming of wonderful days

I pictured your smile as you look at me

I wondered how long our love would last



As I watched you dream one night

I saw a smile come on your face

it was a beautiful smile

and I knew what you were dreaming of

it was a dream you had alot lately



I remember before I met you

how I wondered if I would ever find love

I remember giving up on every being happy

and then I saw our eyes met

and you made me smile again



You told me of your days

and how you were going through kinda the same

so we spoke all day of beautiful things

and somewhere along the way

We fell in love with each other



When I look in your eyes, I feel so much love

I know what you feel, and it's a wonderful feeling

Sometimes I wonder, if maybe it will one day change

Then you tell me a joke, and I know I'm right

It will change, it will get better



I never thought I'd find a girl that appreciates me

That I can say I love you without worrying why

you are something special in my life

and I Want us to last forever

and so you woke up that night



As I woke up and looked at you

You were watching me, and I smiled

because the dream isn't over

I know now, that all this time

My dream girl was laying right beside me
