I am so tired of waiting and wasting precious years.
I am so tired of crying, instead of facing my fears.
The man that you can be whenever you’re around
That’s the man I long for, that’s the man I first found.
The very apparent void you leave inside my heart
That, my dear, is what is tearing this family apart.
My energy to fight has been sucked away from my body
Hopefully one day the worth you’ll find in that special somebody.
Somebody who will win your hours, somebody who will win your time.
My heart is checking out now and it bids you farewell and goodbye.
