Last time it was like this:
I wanted the opportunity to make her happy

But, she was already happy

So I burdened her instead:
The responsibility to make me happy

It was not a responsibility to share
I carry my own burdens

Next time it's like this:
I am happy on my own terms

If she wants to share
I might
