Flutter flutter fly,

beautiful butterfly.

Spread your wings and fly away,

into the clear blue sky.

~

Flutter flutter fly,

beautiful butterfly.

Before you touch the sky above,

don't forget to say good bye.

~

Flutter flutter fly,

beautiful butterfly.

Even though we've said good bye,

our love will never die.

~

Flutter flutter fly,

beautiful butterfly.

Our love is strong, it will go on.

Turn away, don't see me cry.

~

Flutter flutter fly,

beautiful butterfly.

These tears that fall, mean nothing at all,

as I see you flying high.

~

Flutter flutter fly,

beautiful butterfly.

To see you soar high above,

dries my tear soaked eyes.

~

So you see my friend.

I'm not talking of a bug.

This creature that I speak of,

can cuddle kiss and hug.

~

This creature that I speak of,

is not a butterfly.

Cause this creature that I speak of,

is a caring, loving guy.

~

A guy who said he loves me,

a guy whom I've set free.

To fly with me in the sky above,

for all the world to see.

~

So flutter flutter fly,

in the clear blue sky.

Flutter flutter fly,

baby just you and I.
