Drag race my heart

Right into 4-wheel drive

Accelerate from the start

Pump up the adrenaline it thrives



If I stop I might collide

One foot is all it takes

To slow down to the side

And slam on these brakes



But I can’t stop, I’m on a roll

I’m coasting down this hill

While you’re still going slow

And I’m tearing up this wheel



You’re too far behind

And I’m not slowing down

Speeding past the limit sign

I’m heading out of town



If you really want to catch me

You’ll have to speed your pace

Cuz I can’t slow down for you

My dust is in your face



My heart has no limits for you

It’s a one-way one lane road

I can’t see you in my rearview

So I’ll slow as the shoulder folds



I’ll wait for you to come around the bend

As the lane merges into two

When you get here the race will end

And I’ll slow down for you
