The surgery

2004 poems

The day of the surgery
I was so down that I had to cry.
Which I did when I saw the doctor
Put the niddle through your arm.
The day of the surgery
I could not think straight as a person.
My mom had surgery on her body when I was young.
The day of the surgery
I thought that I was going to lose you as my Mother,
but thank God that he was watching over the most
Important person in my life.
The day of the surgery
I was so confused that I did not know what to do.
I'm glad that God's angel's were holding onto you
Through your surgery, because
now I can spend some time with you in my life.
