Out Of The Darkness

Out Of The Darkness

Out of the darkness, one rose grew.
And with that rose bloomed the bud of hope.
And with that hope, mankind grew.
And as he grew, he became strong.
With his strength, he pulled himself from the darkness creating light.
And that beacon led all to its shore.
And on that shore, a nation grew.
In that nation, people learned love and gained freedom.
And from that freedom there came envy.
And from that envy, hate.
And from that hate, came an attack on humanity itself.
From that attack came death.
And death led to anger.
And anger led to darkness.
And out of the darkness, one rose grew.
