For only a moment I’ve known,

Perhaps spread like twinkling stars,

The understandings of my life,

That have kept me searching afar,

For a solution to my strife,

In this world that has me barred.

But it is I the one and only,

Who holds this mortal coil,

That thanks the efforts earnt,

From a wandering but tending toil,

That at times has fingers burnt,

But it is mainly me I soil.

And for all my misunderstood self,

I pray one day that the grace,

That has allowed my feet to plod,

Along the slow and steady pace,

Help me truly Love my God,

And firmly grasp my rightful place.
