So why must you leave me



When you were thirsty

I had wine for you to drink



When you were hungry

I had food for you to eat



If you wanted music

I played your favorite song



I tried everything within my power

I tried so hard to make things right



I even lied to myself and closed my eyes

To the pain and sorrow that I've known
