Longing

Longing for someone I cannot have,
thoughts that seem to never leave.
Funny how one can make an impact,
without you ever seeing it coming.
I guess we just have to go with the flow,
allowing the feelings to warm our soul.
Feeling desires to be unfulfilled,
as happiness mingles in a puddle of sadness.

I got this picture of a

I got this picture of a living metaphor of happiness dancing in it's coming tears. I really took to that. The greatest power of love and longing is to be able to feel it for someone. Even if that is all it ever becomes, it is a good feeling in itself. I hope it does become more for you, though. Take care.
