Heartbreak

Red haired woman in a bed of colors,

dreaming of sensations wantonly craved.

Deepest longings of tempting watercolors,

steaming desires have left her enslaved.

Laying sad on her blankets of desire,

aching for the man who has left her still.

Burning deep inside as if on fire,

tears flowing freely from this bitter pill.

It will take awhile to get over him,

weeping nightly seeming out of control.

Aches of heartbreak traveling every limb,

no one to hold her tender and console.

Until she realizes he’s just a turd,

not worth the agony she has incurred.
