I had no clue what was going through

his mind I might as well have been

a stranger There was no more love in

his eyes Time had set in and changed

him My name didn't roll off his    

tongue as smooth as honey

I could see a cold distance

between us and my tears wouldn't stop

What happened to the you that

held me close that was going

to hold me forever? When did you decide                     that my voice wasn't enough? Somewhere between

the beginning and forever it dwindled down

A magical fairytale reduced to the faded marks of memory

I turned away unable to look at him

as we went our separate ways i could hear the tears

of his pain in the wind...
