Decision for Peace
Frustration builds inside me,
The worry's are crashing in,
Pressure comes from every side,
Temptation looms, hiding it's sin.
Every angle I look through,
Seems to get darker every day,
It's harder now to turn my back,
I'm finding less reasons to walk away.
It's time to turn my focus,
To the things of God's Holy plan,
I don't know if I can forget,
I'd be easier if I'd turn and ran!
But as I step into the presence,
Peace surrounds my heart and mind,
Quiet gentleness takes over,
Forgiveness and love is what I find.
Holy Father I surrender,
On my face I fall in need,
It's You alone I must worship,
For Your Son's blood I must plead!
Letting Your presence wash through me,
Giving my heart washed by blood,
Reveling in Your Glorious Light,
Peace washes over, a cleansing flood.
