Don't Lose It

Don’t Lose It

Clark Steven Lupton

April 8, 2009

If you’re going to lose

Try to lose your weight

Don’t lose your money

Or you won’t afford a date

Don’t lose your cell phone

Don’t lose your mind

Remember your manners

And try to be kind

Know where you’re going

Don’t lose your way

Try not to lose your patience

Tomorrow’s another day

Keep your wallet or purse

By all means and at all cost

Or your life will be a wreck

If they end up lost

If you lose your six pack of Snickers

And get sad because they’re yummy

I will be delighted

Because they’re in my tummy

Author's Notes/Comments:

I did this for the love of composing. As they say, use it or lose it.
