DRECK

DRECK

Incomprehensible this, when you tend to outsmart good-hearts;

So hilarious they feel when you get along with such wretched thoughts;

Ignorant you seem as your ideas look compatible,

Yet you vie for high positions on the pretext that you are the best.

Suppressing the meek is your uncanny ability;

A ‘meanie’ you are, as your acts are prejudiced;

You irk the ones, who demand a change for better,

And flout all rules to keep them at arm’s length.

You don’t blench or even wry as you are sly,

You enjoin and suppress others to realize your agenda;

People think ‘You are a liar’, as you appease others in camera,

Yet you never reconcile and change your imperious stand!

Luring people is all that you maneuver for you are garrulous,

However you try, people don’t think you’re irreproachable;

Damn they care and care two hoots for you look so foolish;

Your blabbering makes one believe ‘Great talkers are not great doers’!

Author's Notes/Comments:

People who hold high positions in society never easily accept the thoughts of others even if they are worth listening to.  This shows the bad quality in them.

I do agree.  Still there is a limit; and people got to listen to others too without being prejudiced.

Everyone Wants To Lead

Talented or not, capable or not. The do as I say not as I do posture fails, eventually the "mouther" is unveiled as a fraud. Real leaders do not need to justify their ability with talk, they do. Good poem ~Star~

Thanks for your great comment. I do like the line 'Real leaders do not need to justify their ability with talk' for they know they have done something great; hence they don't have to brag.
