American Beauty



I knew the first time I looked into your eyes

I knew right away,

I realized

I was going to remember that moment forever

just by the way we looked at each other.



No words were needed as my smile said it all

a beautiful image without a flaw,

you were a vision beyond the beauty of a dream

so fresh and vibrant,

soft, tender and clean.



Your hair tumbled into layers upon your shoulders

I could feel myself getting warmer and warmer

Oh the way you made me feel was beyond description

Oh baby!

Felt like an infection.



Your face, the beauty of a princess

the way you drove me crazy in that sexy red dress,

my mouth watering, licking my lips

I was losing control, couldn't get a grip.



You are the bloom of a beautiful flower

the freshness after a spring shower,

you are my light after darkness blankets the sky

my ocean after my well runs dry.



All this with just a look

with you that's all it took

inside your heart and soul I could see,

my one true love
