Life Long Friend

Folder:
Friends

Laughter and chatter ring out from my heart.

Intimate moments, you share a part.

Filling the void no boyfriend can fill.

Enlighting my life with you giggling trill.

Longing to see your friendly face at my door.

Over the years you know me to the core.

Never doughting the bond that we share.

Giving your comfort so I know you care.

Facing life’s troubles I have no need to fear.

Rather I greet them cause I know you are here.

Impeccable wisdom and witty mind.

Each of us knowing we will never be left behind.

Nothing can break this bond that we share.

During your troubles be sure I will be there.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This poem was written for my best friend Francis Johns.
We have been friends since we were 5 yrs old.Though we don't see each other that often we both know that when we need a friend we will be there for each other.
