I Hunger

Would that you could feel my arms wrapped around your heart,

Cradling each beat of life, caressing each lobe,

Dipping my fingers in your life's blood,

Feeling the life that is you coursing over my fingers.

I taste you and soar among the stars,

Yet I am crushed by your expansiveness into nothing.

Walk with me on endless crimson horizons on the edge of infinity.

Take my hand and feel my heart start to beat again at your touch.

For I crave your touch.

I hunger for the heat of your fingers

Burning my flesh as you caress my cheek.

Take me in your arms and set me afire.

Let my flames lick at your body and consume us.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I thought of two titles for this peom - I Hunger and the second is Wrapped Around Your Heart - would love feedback about what people think of either or both, which is stronger, what each makes you think of when you read it and then the poem. Thanks.

This is a beautiful love

This is a beautiful love poem, but the second choice of title is the more appropriate for it---if the question in your notes is still valid.  If not, forgive me, please, for asserting an opinion out of turn.
