Twenty and one year i have gone when i met life and my best friend,

I have no clear understanding what a best friend really means to me,

So i regarded anyone dear to me and spent time with as my best friend.

But she loves to travel and been to so many places i have never been.

She loves to talk to people and make them laugh, so affable in nature.

Her beautiful eyes were just as beautiful as her smiles, attractive.

She has captured a lot of people's interest and even their hearts.

Loved by so many because of not only who she is but also what she is.

Sitted in the quiet park overlooking the ocean one dreamy afternoon,

Sharing the mere "abouts" of our lives, friends and mutual dealings,

At length, leaving the native soil of the Pearl of the Orient Seas.

So astounded to find out we are both leaving and going to the same land.

Overwhelmed with joy, i am not alone to live far behind from loved ones.

Now both settled down, have families and trampled with different cares,

Life went on, and on this cynical earth we are still the best of friends.

Unmindful on earth below and sky above, we keep our communication open.

A precious girl was born from her, keep her strong to fight the odds of life.

We have encountered the deepest problem we have not known to happen to us,

Yet, our friendship's sweet refrain has kept encouragement in our hearts.

Distance might have remained the gap between us to keep us simply apart,

We shared the fun under the sun and even shared our laughter and tears...

"I love you my best friend", my friend for life...

And no matter what happen, you will always remain still in my heart.
