Sonnet--ADMIRING MOZART

limericks/sonnets

like a barbiturate, Your opus is

cascading in the corners of my mind,

comforting  my frantic consciousness,

till I am veered to the celestial sphere

my penchant for music has grown so fast;

to your clarion notes, I am moonstruck

such exceptional highbrows in the art

exceedingly admired and also begrudged

here I am with an inner desire to paint

words in the miasma filled with meteors;

I have made my behest to all the saints

but, all I was bestowed is the gift to see

the incantation behind your symphony

the kind blanketed with tranquility

BRAVO, BRAVO,
(I would write a more comprehensive
critique but clearly, the loud cheers
form the crowd would drown out all
that I would have to say, so I will
just join them in accolade...)
BRAVO! BRAVO!
