I am a true rebel without a cause

just cuz

I can be

don't need to explain

on another plane

I know the James Dean connection is spiritual

and sure that it shows

Cuz otherwise Jimmy would have nothing to do with me

whether or not anyone knows

and he is around constantly

cuz you see

I feel his presence

his effervescence

a guardian angel of sorts

misunderstood ofcourse

just like me

or who I wanna be

a receptive channel

for creativity

wanna be on the panel

go against gravity

feel free

to be you

gotta be me

you know that's true

truer words were never spoken

let this chain of thought go unbroken

forever intact

it is exact

to what I am feeling now

and how!?!

I dunno and I don't care

just kinda glad to be there

I am not crazy at least I hope not

but gotta put myself out there and give it a shot

If you think I'm crazy I don't care

I don't mean this as a dare

for my pal Jim

cuz I admire him

the more risks taken the better

that thought would take a long letter

suffice it to say

will try to get it all down someday

for now this will have to suffice

and I hope you think it is nice

at least adds spice

maybe read over think thrice

Author's Notes/Comments:

this is based on a very long story of my James Dean quest that totally worked out perfectly so was definitely meant to be...went out to NYC by myself back and forth just to see his teleplays at Museum of Broadcasting and found a free place to stay thanks to an understudy who had a rent controlled apt at Manhattan Plaza midtown so I could walk everywhere and I did except to the airport...Port Authority to Newark...anyways...even got free air fare cuz there was a deal at the time at Peoples Express no longer in existence where I would book a 7pm flight and give up my seat and then get on the 9pm one and get free air fare next time out...I loved NY so much...I really wanted to move out there...I loved the energy..I also went to LA LA land to check out where Jimmy had been out there and Fairmount, IN his hometown and met his aunt that raised him and his cousin Marc and family....once we were at the farm watching Highway to Heaven together...so cool...so many great memories and everything totally worked out so know it was meant to be...I even got my house with low income and stuff and when I came to check it out Giant was on TV so I was like, ok Jimmy is here it will all work out and it seemed impossible and yet it happened thanks to him I swear...too many interesting stories to go into but suffice it to say he is looking out for me somehow someway and I sure do appreciate it every step of the way....by the way i thought rhyming surprises with realize it was pretty clever...what did u think?
