Automatic writing
can be so exciting
brings out thoughts I am hiding
on a creative flow I'm riding
I just can't write fast enough
to remember all the stuff
I need to say
today
come what may
elaborate
that would be great
don't stop the flow
til ya gotta go
Author's Notes/Comments:
Most of my poetry is spontaneous and totally feels like automatic writing like....the thoughts just flow and I can't write fast enough to get it all down...I used to think I could be dangerous if I took time to think about what I was writing like with my brotherhood poem...if i took the two weeks to write it, would not have been the automatic writing spontaneous combustion less than five minutes stuff that worked...so sometimes less time is more...at least in my experience with my poetry...I write fast and the less I think, the better, just let the emotions flow, let yourself go and then WOW...ya know what I mean?
automatic writing is nothing more then "the calling" we answer as it happens. The gift that says acknowledge me,respect me,present me. The gift that says it matters not what others think as long as you are happy with what you do with your words,they are yours and yours to do with what you will........
