I CAN BE SMART WHEN I WANNA BE

BUT I'M SO GOOD AT PLAYING DUMB

I WON'T LET ON TO HOW MUCH I KNOW

CUZ I FIND OUT A LOT MORE THAT WAY



You wouldn't have told me

half the things you did

If you didn't think

I was just a dumb kid



I wouldn't know

half the things I know

If I had let

my intelligence show



That just goes to prove

That I'm really smart

Gathered lots of information

and I've taken it to heart

written ages ago but still has meaning to me...lyrics...chorus in all caps...the less you let on that you know the more people share with you ...sometimes it works...try it

I can relate to this one- i act dumb in order for people to tell me more

I love this piece, I act dumb a lot of the time too, it's sometimes better and fun to do and I think it really makes you smarter sometimes.
