Feels Like Saturday

Why do I keep thinking today is Saturday

what is it about today

that makes me feel that way

What does Saturday feel like

I know it feels like today

but don't know the reason anyway

only today feels like Saturday

even though it's Friday

so I am a day ahead

is that good or bad

My mind is somewhere else today

just not focusing to my dismay

except feeling like today is Saturday

My mind is in fast forward and I'm moving in slow motion

drowning in thoughts that are deeper than the ocean

I made it through the day OK

though dazed and confused anyway

Why does today feel like Saturday

can't figure it out today

maybe tomorrow when it's really here

the answer will be clear

Author's Notes/Comments: 

For some crazy, strange, odd reason, I kept feeling like today was Saturday even though it is Friday and it was really bugging me cuz I don't know why...have no clue...didn't know what to do but make a poem out of it and will think about it later...Pam

Oh how many of us have felt this before? I know I have. Maybe its cause we want it to be saturday so bad. I love this poem alot. I can feel what your writting
