TENDER FOOTFALLS

Folder:
JOURNAL # 41

down to the river
I faithfully trudge
trailing foliage
and sound
bearing left
shouldering
the breeze's nudge
a startled deer
notices my intrusion
I smell rain
chipmunks jungle dance
all around me
as daring as baboons
along the creek side's
wooded shelves
nature's mystery
cloaks the crackle
of leaves beneath
'Tender Footfalls'
I sit juxtaposed
to where you fell
lost in the love and loss
of my own humanity's
personal heaven
whatever dreams may come
I see not their purpose now
just the memory of your warm
loving eyes enveloping me
you exited life here
so I come here sometimes
to feel the wisps of
your final departure
from this realm............

Just some images that came into my head and a poetic story formed. Enjoy!

Nice one sis :)

I smell the rain

On silent terrain

Rains dont feign

Depart at will

Dont you worry

It'll be back again
