and expression

you sparkle in your simplicity

to charm

the angle at which you slant

your views

is like gazing upon a shimmering

pool of tranquility's light

you are philosopher/ sage

and humorous uncle delayed

you untell stories told

and wipe clean walls of slate

with an Ostrich size curiosity

you pit your intellect and education

against the masses

you praise without prompting

and admire with quiet grace

you inspire by example

and do not dicker to make

your case

I've read you off and on for a handful

of years

enjoyed the bilingual world

that you walk through

you are a poetic gem

a man who's works should be

read beginning to end

clearing one's way through...........
