SO MUCH BEAUTY

Folder:
JOURNAL # 41

I can see
'So Much Beauty'
in every day mediocrity
is like a curtain is lifted
and the utter loveliness
of the oh so common
is revealed
even when I'm so very tired
say from work
the drive home as familiar as it
is
is a mental hug to my soul
I have to stop a moment
and smile
life is a constant ever changing
mosaic
of incredibly moving experiences
disguised so often
as hard living that others
seem to growl about
and choose to forget
in their quest to look for
something worth having
they search so hard for the
end reward
over looking the very path
that sent them towards
that goal
in other words
they missed the meaning of
the gift entirely
from being too focused on
the want of the actual item
not the actual contribution it provides
and represents in their life............

Author's Notes/Comments:

I contemplated today on the concept of so much rush in people's lives that they really don't seem to enjoy the many gifts they do have for they are too busy pursuing their want of more.
