THAT SPECTACLE DEPRESSION

Folder:
JOURNAL # 41

through such darkness
I must stumble and falter
with incomparable ease
the pit manages to absorb me
disappointment cruelly cradles
my inwardly turned mind
no obvious exit can I see
abandonment stands her intermittent guard
a heartless hearty lass ever is she
with Kool-aid drank and shadows deposed
I await for the sunlight again to beckon me
yet no spectacular horizon of pink do I notice
just that sketchy ache
deep, deep down in my hollowest crevice
magenta morning please, please come
chase back the sorrow from whereist it has come............

Author's Notes/Comments:

I shouldn't listen to 'Rainy Days and Mondays' by The Carpenters anymore huh?
