A ROMEO BY ANOTHER MORE BEFITTING NAME

Folder:
JOURNAL # 41

Romeo to me represents
a mere callow, unremarkable boy
hardly a heart breaker or womanizer
that many associate his name sake with today
his family he defied
and in a, love at first sight moment
two unlikely eyes locked from across the room
and the fair forbidden Juliette became
his object of undying affection
where as Lothiaro would fit far, far better the part
of womanizer and heart breaker extraordinaire
not some love sick teen who loved but one
the daughter of his family's worst enemy no less
never to beseech another like many today
refer to those who do,
as what else but Romeos
it is totally unbefitting

his beloved Juliette was a head strong lass
I hardly see her as some man eater born
a fairy sprite child raised in a crystal palace
pampered to the extreme
smitten by the stormy infatuated attentions
of that overly obsessed lad Romeo Montague
the danger of their forbidden love played
a rather large part in their mutual desire
to be one
but no other love scorned women ever
were written into view

so by far the dark Lothario seducer of women
in Don Quixote 's The Impertinent Curiosity
would by far stand up to be well suited
for the before mentioned tag of Romeo that
many today see as a user and seducer
of legions of women..................
