VOICING LOVE

Folder:
JOURNAL # 41

with every syllable that you utter
to me you are 'Voicing Love'
though tempers invariably flair between us
the passion is never crushed
though chivalry is your figurative sword
it's your gallantry itself which you sustain

as a pearl inlaid shield
intuitive though your heart indeed may be
know that my days are finer when immersed
in your presence and mood
songs find themselves written sweeter
than their words were ever meant to be
however the way intended
but by no other could I be so pleased
a world that is weary, topples itself mid sway
the Atlantic may rumble wide and just as savage

into the Pacific's fury
yet like two hurricanes past and present
we devastate each other in the collision
of our mutual forces
you are my strength
I am your conscience
but we collide
to make unapologetic pure heat
as we master to maneuver
through this path's ever
continual debris
we are our emotion's evolution
unto ourselves
as our circle is slowly closing
to join
let such embrionic cycle never
cease.................

so deep and ...so so deep. Love it.

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "

My sweet Ms. Night, You always make me smile with your praise..

Thank you so much for gushing.............I try when I write, I mean once it is finished, to read the poem like another person would. The reaction is hard to gage. This one was powerful for me as it was dredged up from so many swirling emotions. Your reaction to it made quite an impact, so once again thanks. Sincerely, M.
