PULLED HOME

JOURNAL # 41

breathless heart
stammering thoughts
my wobbly eyes
just can't get over the fact
that they are finally seeing you
my dreams just grew wings
in the sky of your laughing eyes

while
through your gritty baritone
brazen undertones
with just a hint of
indecent suggestion
is suddenly applied

I stammer
I stutter
teasing you halfheartedly
with the limp rejoinder of how
your mother would be shocked

I feel you smile at my
lame reparte'
so enchanted by even
the words I lack
and my heart falls in love
just a wee bit more
with this before never seen
physical presence of you
so nonchalantly on display
before me
as
into your open arms
I'm 'Pulled Home' to safety
like I've never dreamed before.................

Thank you Sir Poet!

Now, if you ever meet such a man please be a pal and introduce him to me. I think he doesn't exist such a man I mean so I just write about fictitious men I'd long to meet. The like the world has likely never seen. Glad to read you are alright............. ciao from you know who!........... so why type it?

I APPRECIATED YOUR POEM.

I appreciated your poem. I did not mention any man in my comments. But I do believe that God helps those who help themselves...right? Just have faith in God Almighty and I am sure He will help you in your search. All the best. And, I have also learned from experience, that those who seek what they want get if only if they deserve it. Nothing personal here. So do not be offended. To add what I gleaned from your some poems published by you here a few weeks ago that you describe some person who, according to you, likes to remain stuck in "muck". I have no questions or queries. But I feel you are in love with a real man and you are suffering due to mistrust, wrong insight and "judging" a person while in all the poems you have penned before and published here harp on "Judge not and you shall not be judged". I feel that you need to think it all over.
Wishing you all the best.
Emmenay.

Perhaps you are right dearest Sir Poet...........

but I'm just a fallible woman and not even a trained poetess. The man I am mentioning I was referring back to my own poem writ which you so adroitly commented on. So I replied to you as I did, should you meet such a man as like the fictitious man I speak of in my poem. Anyway, it always makes me smile when you critique my poetry. We so rarely interact anymore. You seem in your poetry to have fallen beneath the foot and spell of some lovely on the outside but ugly on the inside woman. That surprised me as you are so smart to so easily out maneuver such shallow type women. Perhaps you can write us here at post poems a poem telling us how such a vile creature such as she got 'The Momentary Better' of you. I know I speak for the straining masses when I say, that would be a poem I'd eagerly like to read if written by you. winks. Anyway, I'm glad you are doing well. By the way, tell your beloved rare woman I said hi and note that I miss reading those marvelous poems you use to write about her. Oh dear. I do hope I've not put my foot in it and quite possibly figured out that she is your Miss Beauty! grins If so, I'm so sorry, (truly here no joke) besides you deserve far better than such a woman as that. She was far too perfect and that made her seem almost not human sometimes. Your She Wants me again did make me scratch my head and ponder though that maybe there was trouble in paradise or just perhaps another rare specimen of femaleness had captured your eye and turned to stone when you least expected. Anyway, we eager readers here at post poems do wait with poetically baited breath um so to speak.............. and you know that when all those legions of less than stellar wanna be muses fail you that I'm always available for the next opening winks. I've never made any bones about that now have I sir.......... I do hope I've not made any enemies of your mooning female fans here by saying this (grins like a heathen!) .....as always I wish you the absolute best you know who! ............so why type it?...................
P.S. Do be a sport and reply I'm near dying to hear what you have to say to all my comically sincere tongue in cheek commentary and queries.............. (kisses your whiskered cheek, that is if indeed you do ever let it whisker even the tiniest bit!)

O:)))))!

Hmm! Thanks for your comment. You know that I am always a sportive person...you know that very well...or don't you? Haan? Well, well......That's what Gregory Peck says in "Roman Holiday"...He was cool.............as Audrey Hepburn and Gabrielle Anwar in "The Scent of A Woman"....of course the coolest was Al Pacino......in the movie! Haha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
