Folder:
JOURNAL # 41

how do I woo thee
shall I be witty and say
it is thou whom releases me
from the dreariness of mine day
such subtle inflections of vague
indecency maketh me smile and say
oh love of love's own rib, be not so shy
in the morrow awaits our most
meaningful play
two crumpled paper hearts
gently ironed out and tethered
happily together
to reunite and sway
unscripted Valentines
across eternities
in each their own patch worked way
the years we have clung to
warm buttons in each the others palm
so valiantly held in prized joy
to reveal
come the eager dawning of
our fate's most favored day
that day mine eyes cast upon
thine
devoid of any true harm
melding once two wounded energies thus
ever to soar as fiercest as they are
melded supremely away...................
