marble statue
of warm woman
on a wire
me without a pen
chide me on that
another day
remember me
in your prayers
I'm the one blowing
gentle kisses
at your bowed head
inhale my scent as you rise
from your 'Absolution'
dare me not to smile at you
knowingly............

Inspired by fellow post poems poet Emmenay's poem, 'Yellow Noon'.........
his though more brief mine be more powerful. Sticks tongue out at Emmenay............... (smiles like a pleased five year old)
