THE SOCIAL WORKER

JOURNAL # 41

bring forth
the battlements
how their eyes cast
a specific glow
the honor of such characters
so fierce
their faces
pillars of a particular type
of granite
infinite determination
etched in the eyes
pit bulls at their heels
breath halos of
history's flow
the negative grind
of society's wheels
incur misunderstandings'
repeated alignment
though mercy they wear
like cashmere coats
draped upon the shoulders
of inflicted saints
amid the pain and chaos
some order, justice and reconciliation
they determinedly bring forth
valiantly attempting
always
to irradicate the taint
from any unwanted situation.................

Nice work! Yes, very often

Nice work! Yes, very often attempts to rescue a situation with the best of intentions ends up with being the worse for intervention. Although that's not all it is about, enjoyed this read thanks Mel :)

and thank you oh Smoothie one winks!

I don't believe enough light is shone on those who do that grinding work. It has to be hard and unforgiving at times but those who go into that field with a good heart and try to do some good. I admire greatly. Thank you for the back up support. I always enjoy hearing from you.
