Again tonight
I lay so focused
yet awake
stealing some moments
just past midnight
to privately lounge
in the thoughts of you
for many an uninterrupted hour
In any other circumstance
that could have given a man alarm
but you are not just any man
true as
mine inner most innocuous thoughts
were all tender
for my soul
you are
'This Life's Honeymoon'

Awww girl!!!

Melissa my dear, day dreaming does not literally describe your focus, lol! I like these lines best :

I lay so focused
yet awake
stealing some moments
just past midnight
to privately lounge
in the thoughts of you
for many an uninterrupted hour

.... they simply describe a woman in love, as I am now, lol! I can picture you staring unseeing in your darkened room, lost in your private world with him. A very lucky man he is! :)

And "Life's Honeymoon" is a very apt title for these new feelings we try to explore...
