A truly pedantic individual
he quickly exposed himself to be
so tightly wrapped up in his ego's
clawing cloak
of over self importance and advanced
educations' climate of 'Cranial Myopathy'
was difficult to converse with the type
his condescending nature all too
quickly slipping out
with his words 'I suppose someone has
to be a convenience store clerk'
I nearly laughed at his narrow minded reverie
a guy so utterly impressed with himself
spouting off his achievements so proudly
so to I suppose hopefully impress
with the outside what the inside utterly lacks
to some disfigured degree
I was not his targeted audience
obviously
with my 'That's fine for you sir' ways
but I would due in a pinch
at least momentarily
I made him sad with my views
and to think he said thus
without even knowing me
the teenager in me thought
hah
what an uppity tool
and exited the conversation
for a far superior balanced interaction
with one far better than he
an architect in Maryland no less
who made me laugh incessantly............
