one feels its gravitational pull
the sweetness of the sway
the reverence in the flow
that lilted quality of the lyrics
music carries us
to undisturbed heights
of aural pleasure
eradicating any previous
harm that befell us prior
to its playing
forever lost in song
becomes the human mind
where romance reaches
limericks lament
rock and roll reverberates
through out the histories
of one's own private story
of life and listening liberty
as the chorus carries
the lyrics bring us back
one by one
to a self we long ago
lost some sense of
touch with
and we find ourselves
captured yet calmed
by the melodic ability
of 'Songs And Music'
to drown us in
such beauty
that without them
we can not experience...............

what a sweet poem is this one..you presented song and music as two variables like cause and effects..which inter related to each other..enjoyed much and let me say, melissa you are really a matchless poetess.. really good comand on poetry to do..and rich in ideas.. well done and hope you never stop writing..best of luck
