if you shroud something in the idea of

something else entirely

a story with some sense can still be told

though no reliable water for very long

one person to a certain point

will end up getting from you

the subtlest message

but he will either warm to the actual

spoken words

or see right through the carefully constructed

facade

probably right about the moment

he feels his blood run just a little

too cold to be ignored

so be warned

instinct and fair judgment will most likely

pair up to volley an acceptable out come

but not in the liar's favor

as the ring of truth is such a tough opponent

to beat

it has an enviable way of eventually coming

out on top

and always smelling like a rose

hooray for the old lucky truth!...............
