UNCOMMON IDEAS OF KNOWLEDGE ADDRESSED

Folder:
JOURNAL #22

do you think the sky

truly knows what the earth is for

(a place for perpetual classes that must be

taken by the soul)

or that little children know just how truly

beautiful to us that they are

all while they are still just that

innocent little children

and do elephants I wonder think that they too

possess such incredible memories

or do they rather complain amongst themselves

that this elephant or that one's memory is worse

than some lowly human's

just who invented asphalt

and then turned around and gave it such a terribly

funny sounding name

and do pigs know just how good they taste

what is the purpose of donuts having holes in

their middles and why is it said

'Its A Small World'

when its really the population thats growing

larger

where as the world itself stays its general size

minus the occasional man made dike or two

of course

how predominant do you think ignorance is among

the movement of man

and why is it that most religions tend to believe

that all the other practiced religions are going

to hell

who wrote the first recorded words

after the wheel

what would be considered as the greatest invention

if death were a rose would we not fear it but hold

it up to such grand ideas of beauty, romance

and esteem

and if the rose was the basis for all knowledge

would there truly be any left for the average man

to pick or would its graceful bloom have been raped

and pilfered to dismal extinction long, long ago

if the sun could turn its life giving rays

towards another planet

I wonder somehow if it would

just out of spite for these rude undeserving

inhabitants of this fickle earth's floor

do you think most martyrs become martyrs by accident

or rather they purposely throw themselves into

such a role

and last but certainly not least

had I been truly physically beautiful

would I have as well been shallow and thoughtless

like a great many others I've encountered

perhaps

this makes me glad then for the moment at least

that 'I am What I am'

( to loosely quote Popeye)

deeper than even the chasm that houses all of man's

sin

I don't know

which is only just the beginning to all knowledge.....
