THE THAW OF FORBIDDENCE

Folder:
JOURNAL #13

somewhere, once across the great pathing stones

life's bridge will be met

where the cool streams attempt to meet their

fated breeze

as the older silences vow never to forget

the purity in fear will quake to know

what 'The Thaw Of Forbiddance ' really means

this air templed place unmentioned until now

continues to dwell unnoticed in the cloaked

wings of each his most haunted dream

nightmares grow to the thousands to forfeit

their transparent promise and prevail

while how it really should be, fades into

memory's murky mist

where all may indeed accomplish so much

only to in the end quite miserably fail

so tender fantasy take note

as your sister, the dream sets sail

though her hopes and breath are now only blue

from the angry winter's unimpressed gale

her courage is still steep

as many will stand to listen and lunge to

recount her quite the clever tattler's tale

that being

a blessing in disguise is not always indeed

such a blessing

just the same to some

it is merely yet another hindering facade

whose mask is much too frail

but who really are we to deny what has already

been done

after all when the boat starts to leak

eventually everyone has to help bail

to the very end God will give us all his own

last hope

until there are none..............

Author's Notes/Comments:

how when man's religion sees things as forbidden it may not be just so black and white and cut and dried with God as he sees with all knowing eyes not limited eyes like men standing in judgment of other men.
