Everybody tells me you’ve got it made!
Everybody tells me you’ve got it made!
Everybody tells me you’ve got
It made in the shade being
In a wheelchair and
Everything never
Having to do anything
But sit on your ass
Read and fool with
Your computer
Must be nice being
Able to do anything
You want at anything.
And I’m thinking yeah
They’re sitting saying
That saying they know
What my life is truly
When all they see is
Happy vision of me
Because that’s all
They’ve ever wanted
Me to be is happy
I wonder how they
All would feel if they
Knew no matter
How hard they all
Tried They would be
Able to walk a
Day in their lives?
I wonder how they
All would feel
Knowing somebody has to
Put them in bed every night?
I wonder how they would feel
If somebody has to help them
In the shower and help bath them
And invade their privacy? I wonder
If everybody would people in wheelchairs
And disabilities has it made? The truth is
Half of you all that say we have made
Couldn’t last a day in our shoes!

that poem is realy true... I have never been disabled or anything... but my sister is handicaped... so I do know its hard... and it is true msot people are bieng stupid saying yall ahve it made but yall dont... anyway I jsut wanted to post and say that it is a good poema dn very true.....
