She bought a chair at a yard sale and
put it in her little house.
"Now, she thought to herself,
if someone comes to visit
I can offer them a seat."
"Here. Sit here in this chair, I'll say."
She and her visitor
would speak of poetry
and birds,
while outside,
seasons would change
like they do now, chair or no chair.
