found in a motel 6

sobbing hysterically

waiting for the cops to come

waiting for my mom

dirty

dirt

all over my hands

my face

my feet

no shoes

no money

no phone

no keys

they took it all

even cigarettes and rum

but most of all

my dignity.

Miracle I'm still alive

nightmarish night

behind me.

Never been so scared

so lost

Never caused so much

misery

Never hurt anyone so badly

as I did that night.

Sober now

for one whole day

This time it will last

because

it's not worth

losing

everything

for one night of drunken

forgotten

memories.
