Father and Son

In the quiet dawn of morning light,

A boy walks beside his Father's might,

With every step, he learns the way,

In laughter and tears, come what may.

A man stands tall, with a heart so wide,

Guiding his Son with love as his guide,

Through lessons carved in the sands of time,

In the dance of life, both rhythm and rhyme.

He recalls the tales, the wisdom bestowed,

In the strength of his Father, a heavy load,

For every misstep, every fall and rise,

He sees in his Son the truth in their eyes.

Now, as he walks on this path of his own,

With dreams in his pocket and seeds to be sown,

He shapes the future, with care and with grace,

Knowing one day, in time's gentle embrace.

His boy will look back, with a heart full of pride,

At the lessons learned, the love that won’t hide,

For life is a circle, a beautiful song,

From Father to Son, where they both belong.

And as he reflects on the journey they've made,

The love and the laughter, the doubts that had stayed,

He’ll cherish the moments, both bitter and sweet,

For in being a Father, his life is complete.

So here's to the bond, so sacred, so true,

To the lessons of life that they both will pursue,

For in every heartbeat, in each passing day,

A Father and Son, finding their way.
