Inside Your Eyes **

Other

I've spent hours wondering,

Spent days in constant thought.

These mysteries I've been pondering,

My attention, dear, you've caught.

I'm stuck on you, can't shake it.

Can't get you off my mind.

Drop hints, but you won't take it.

When I walk by, you're blind.

I've tried to get inside you,

I've tried to block you out.

But everything you do is,

All I can think about.

I wrote you letters,

Wrote you songs,

But you would not accept them.

I picked you flowers,

Gave you gifts,

But I don't think you kept them.

I mailed you chocolates,

Wrote you poems,

To tell you I adored you.

I bought you all,

I thought you'd want,

But I just can't afford you.

I've spent weeks now, wondering.

Spent months in constant thought.

All this time, been blundering.

You're still my only thought.

So honey, set aside the lies.

And let me get inside your eyes.

Doll, this is great. I love the style, it has fire at its core. It's so toxic.
