My Question:

Lord Jesus, things upset me so,

And now my nerves are shot.

But I know you don't understand,

'Cause you're perfect.  I forgot.

Your Word tells me you faced them too--

Irritations that I feel.

But, Lord, how can YOU comprehend,

Whe I'M so tired and ill?



His Answer:

My little one, remember

When I walked for miles that day?

And ministered to ANY

That I found along my way?

We traveled on near sunset,

'Til we came against the sea,

And I could hardly even move

People pressed in so to me.

So we just launched out in a boat

A little way from shore.

And when I moved myself apart,

Then I could help them more.

When you are vexed and harried

And problems fence you in...

Withdraw yourself in Spirit

To the peace I placed within.
