Pattern

All you know is a pattern

Of I'm sorrys and no wait don't gos

Of sins repeated n an open show

Of my affection till I can't stand my reflection

Lacking any perception of love

All you know is a pattern

Of I need you I know that

Turned to oh so you don't have my back

Perpetrated love

Flashin to hate

All you know is a pattern

But that's a deception

You've known it all

Since my conception

But

All you know is a pattern

I still what I claim

I'm so undeserving to speak your name

Through it all you've loved me the same

I guess

All I know is a pattern

One I'm dependant on

The one proved through the loss of your son

For surely our paths won't meet

If this pattern doesn't repeat

You're absolutely amazing. You captured the conformity of society while showing your role in it and how you wish to stop it. You're so secure with yourself that you don't care if you have to be different to get to who and what you want. Your poetry sings it's own melody in everything you do and yet as it fades out I'm still listening for more.
