Don't want to hear it.

I don't want those 4am phone calls,

When you're back from the club

And you're feeling alone,

I don't want to hear

That you've been drinking all night

You've asked me before

And I'm doing alright.

Keep your thoughts to yourself

Because I don't need to hear it,

That you hate life without us

Cause really you fear it,

 I weighed up my love

and the risk of lonliness-

And I took the longest road

To leave the hopelessness.

So please don't approach me

With your gifts of guilt and gratitude

I don't want your condolences,

And I'm not giving you atttitude,

I just rather do without it,

And I'm okay doing my own thing

You make your own decisions,

And you chose the life you're living.

I wouldn't want this

Directed at me.

But I like the way you do

What you do.

Ultimately, we r all accountable for past deeds and absences, disappointments, and failures. A good poem and a great attitude! ~ allets~
